Banner Engineering QS18EP6WQ5 is a photo-electric sensor designed with a divergent diffuse system and TEACH mode for precise detection tasks. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability. This sensor is part of the QS18 Expert series and offers a sensing distance of up to 300mm with infrared (IR) light for detection. It features a pre-wired 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The QS18EP6WQ5 operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and includes a single digital output (PNP transistor) with a rapid response time of 0.6ms. Its rectangular shape is designed for straightforward integration into various applications, and it boasts an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, making it suitable for challenging environments. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON options for versatile application use.
